Collection II
This collection, separated into two deliveries was inspired by the dark periods of our lives and our ability to shine through them. I took design ideas from the Moon, the Sun, particularly solar flares and Black Holes ; all elements often associated with phases, darkness and of course, light, often emulating the human experience.
Monday
I used to watch The X Files in high school; after a long hiatus, I restarted the show during my last semester of university. Through the years, agent Scully has faced many challenges as an X Files investigator and as an instructor. Even when modernity approached she remained herself, and delicate as ever. Her femininity made me realize that it is possible to remain true to ourselves while adapting to novelty and that one does not have to give up class and elegance at the expense of modernity, as they are, in their own way, timeless.
